Destricted DVD

SHORT FILM COMPETITION

Revolver Entertainment has teamed up with Shooting People to present, 'Destricted - a film competition'. Matthew Barney, American sculptor, filmmaker, performance artist and fabulist - of Cremaster film and Restraint Drawings fame - is judging Shooting People's Film of the Month in October. Barney is one of the directors in Revolver's Destricted, a DVD compilation of explicit films intended to illuminate the points where art meets sexuality. Revolver is honored to be Shooting People's film of the month for October, 2010.

The brief for this competition is wide: we want films that tease out that subtle intersection of art and pornography. All genres are acceptable: narrative, documentary, music video, serious or funny, straight or bent. You can make a new film for the project, submit an older one, lift a scene or two from previous work ... It's up to you.

If you upload your film to Shooting People in October, it will be entered into this competition. You can opt out of competing if you like. That will be made clear on upload.
